Dating Tips for Men Over 40- How to Attract Women No Matter What Your Age Is

Some guys seem to limit themselves when it comes to dating when they get past the age of 40. They assume that they have reached a point in life where they don’t have the luxury of being able to select and choose the women they date. Maybe they even get a little hopeless and decide to stick with the first woman who comes along. The thing of it is, it does not have to be that way for You.

Just because you have reached a certain age, you don’t have to give up on wanting to either find the right woman for you, OR, to just have a little fun playing the field. Most of the limitations are just in your own mind anyway, and you don’t have to allow them to keep you from attracting the kind of women you really desire to be with.

Here are some dating tips for men over age 40 to help you attract women no matter what your age is:

1. If you are going to be serious about having no limits as to whom you can attract, get things in order as quickly as possible.

This is something that should be done at any age, but especially when you get past the age of 40. You want to have real goals and dreams that a woman can attach herself to and feel attracted to you for being someone who is doing things with his life. Get in shape if that is something that you need to do. Go and start getting some fun hobbies that make your life a little more exciting. Whatever can make your life better and yourself a little more attractive to boot, go ahead and do it.

2. No matter what age you are, as a man you need to be able to approach women you don’t know.

The only way to really get around this is to have a never ending supply of blind dates that your friends set you up with, and for most people that is not going to happen. So, you need to be able to confidently approach a woman and know what the right things to say to open a conversation with her and then guide that conversation to a point where it can lead to something more.

3. Set your sights on only the women you really want to date.

This is something that you really need to do. You need to sit down and really think about what kind of women you want to attract into your life. Do you want to just have a good time or do you want to settle into a long term relationship? Knowing what you want will help make it easier for you to actually go out and get it. And women love to be around a man who knows what he wants and does something about it.

Wanting to know how to get a girlfriend can drive a guy crazy. Maybe you have tried all of the traditional advice on how to get a girlfriend and it just doesn’t seem to pan out for you. That’s probably because that kind of advice is based more on what sounds good than it is on what actually works out in the real world. Most of that kind of advice is based on trying to play up to the image of being a Prince Charming in a woman’s eyes and that really is not the most realistic approach.

Here are 3 tips on how to get a girlfriend that will help you attract a woman and keep her:

1. Never make a woman out to be your entire world when you first meet her.

As much as you might like her and think that she is wonderful, you can’t immediately make her out to be your entire world. That’s just not really natural. I mean, if you are the kind of guy that has a great life and has selection when it comes to meeting and dating women, would you fall in love after the first five minutes? Probably not. And that is the attitude that you need to convey, that you do have a life and that you do have selection when it comes to meeting and dating women. Of course, you don’t just want to fake it, so make that become a priority in your life and make it real to have that attitude.

2. Don’t be the kind of guy who gets jealous at the first signs of another guy checking her out.

Can you say INSECURE? Well, that is exactly what will be ringing through her ears if she picks up on jealousy coming from you, especially if it is in one of those situations where it does not really mean anything at all. For example, let’s say that you are talking to a woman and hitting it off just great. Then, another guy kind of gets close and says something to her as a way to flirt with her. If you get jealous and insecure in that moment, you are going to lose points. Handle it in a cool and confident way, and she will be impressed with you.

3. Go out and have fun looking for a girlfriend.

The whole experience of meeting and dating women is supposed to be fun, right? Well, when most guys are stressed out and really frustrated with the whole idea of getting a girlfriend, it stops being fun. And guess what? It starts getting harder and harder for them. You have to let go of the idea that it is so important, and relax and concentrate on having fun while looking for a girlfriend.
